What does Fuel Injector Cleaner do?
Our advanced Injector Cleaner is specifically designed to clean the engines internal fuel injection system of build up from carbons, gums, waxes and many other impurities present as a result of the fuel combustion process. Specifically, the engines fuel injectors are prone to clogging. In modern engines, the spray pattern is essential for the efficiency of fuel combustion but when they become clogged, they no longer spray the fuel into the engines combustion chamber properly. Your engine becomes less efficient, the engines management system works overtime and effectively you gain less power, use more fuel and cause more pollution! Worst of all, you don't even notice because this happens gradually until the big bill for 'additional work' comes as a very unwelcome and often badly timed surprise at what should only have been a service!
Using our advanced Fuel Injector Cleaner in your tank can be of a major benefit to you and your vehicle! Over time, deposits can build up in diesel & petrol fuel injection systems - reducing engine power. To sustain great performance, it is critical that these extremely precise and sophisticated parts of the engine are kept in top condition. Our advanced Injector Cleaner will do just that! The main reason is poor fuel quality. Modern engines are built to much higher tolerances than ever before. They are more complicated, more intricate and more technologically advanced than most of us can imagine. Gone are the days of tinkering with the carburettor or even changing your own spark plugs, in fact, other than checking levels of coolant and oil, there is not much else we have access too these days under our own bonnets. All in all, this is probably a good thing. As long as you follow the servicing routine by using a qualified service centre, you should not really have any problems. Should you?
That should really be the case but one problem is becoming more and more apparent, fuel quality! Fuel plays a much bigger role these days than just making your vehicle 'go'. For example, in modern diesels, the fuel pump is designed to be lubricated by the fuel alone. Put the wrong fuel in by accident and bingo, you'll often be whacked by a huge bill for a new fuel pump! But this is a minority problem, the major problem is the quality of the fuel itself. It is an established fact that cheaper supermarket fuels and other 'unbranded' fuels tend to contain less cleaning additives. We are not saying this fuel is dirty, but certainly it is not as good as say, the premium grades offered by the major brands. Read Fuel Article
